Thanks, Christopher. I’ll definitely give that a read. I had the opportunity to hear Prof. Hefling preach in Boston (on the Ascension as I recall) and was impressed.
I still need to read more of Alison’s work before coming to any firm conclusions, I think – I have my reservations, but he’s definitely one of the more interesting and unique theologians I’ve come across in a while.
