. . . and because “in everything, give thanks” includes the bad stuff. If we are truly alive for His glory and His pleasure, then “Come what may” is the healthiest posture to have.
I am thankful that I do not have a rose petaled pathway to walk, but a chance to beat my body and make it submit, to express Christ to those who are in darkness, to develop perseverance, and to be stretched, broken, and conformed.
