A contemplative and Christocentric prayer

I’ve been trying to get back into the habit of praying the Rosary. For whatever reason, I’ve found that it’s a form of prayer that really speaks to my condition. Looking for some resources online I came across two I really liked: this sermon on praying the Rosary from Fr. Aidan Nichols, O.P. and this post from Br. Augustine Reisenauer, O.P.

  1. What is your condition, that this speaks to? Nothing bad, I hope.

I ask only because you brought it up publicly, whatever it is.

Certainly, you can answer that you’d rather not say.

  2. Oh, no – nothing like that. I meant my “spiritual condition.” That is, I think people are probably tempermentally suited to different forms of prayer and this one seems to suit me. Appreciate the concern though!
