Too bad he didn’t wander onto the firing range.

I was actually surprised at how graciously the cadets received him. Partly that’s military training, no doubt. Every questioner addressed him as “sir.”

Chomsky twice misattributed to Tacitus the famous saying of Thucydides’ Melian Dialogue. Made me cringe.
