I’ve really been enjoying this album–it’s called Desire Lines and came out earlier this month.

    I love Camera Obscura and have seen them live a couple of times. I didn’t think that many knew of them Stateside. Have you listened to any of their earlier stuff?

    I don’t know how popular they are here–i found out about them through a friend who’s sort of my conduit to hip indie music. 😉 I’ve also been listening to “Let’s Get Out of This Country,” which I like too. Any other of their albums you’d particularly recommend?

      My Maudlin Career is also a good album. I presume that you are familiar with Belle and Sebastian, who Camera Obscura really take after in certain respects.

    Thanks, I’ll check it out. I was aware that Camera Obscura owes a lot to B&S, but I’m not that familiar with them either. Well, unless you count the cartoon from the 80s. 😉
