    as if either party were serious about the bill of rights…both parties are talking out of both sides of their mouths. you can’t affirm fisa one day and get bent out of shape the next.

    Well, I look at it this way: you have one party that now has, as a core principle, the shredding the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and one party that weakly protests and all-too-often feebly goes along. So, I’m all for applauding that party when it does something right in the hopes of stiffening its spine a bit.
