British newcomer Barnes brings sexy back to ‘Narnia’

I have to say, C. S. Lewis and sexy are not two things that usually go together in my mind.
That said, I recently caught the trailer for Prince Caspian and thought it looked pretty good. But I’m darned if I can remember what actually happens in the book.
Does it make me a bad person that I could never get into the Chronicles of Narnia? I’ve never managed to finish the first book, let alone the rest, and I thought the first movie was rather dull. Jack, forgive me.

Yes – a very, very bad person!! 😉
As I recall, that wasn’t the book that left the biggest impression. But I do remember: a) Prince Caspian having his kingdom stolen from him by a wicked uncle or something, b) the four Pevensies showing up in Narnia, c) they discover their Christmas gifts again, and d) at some point, eventually, there’s a battle, and Prince Caspian gets his throne back. And that Susan does actually shoot the bow at some point. That’s the main thing I remember. I can’t for the life of me recall what plot function the bow served – but she definitely shot it.
Thus ensuring that rule of Chekhov gets fulfilled about a bow having to go off eventually if you put it in the story.
