If this is correct, Huckabee–despite his kinder, gentler populist rhetoric–still seems to be singing from the Christian ultra-right hymnal when it comes to foreign policy, especially concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Ironically the West Bank was occupied by Jordan for 20 years or so, and the Gaza Strip by Egypt; there was no Palestinian state. Even then, Israel was considered to be an illegitimate state. I don’t think this will be resolved anytime soon.
