All dogs go to heaven

Well, Luther thought so.

  1. Hmm. What about my cat, Seargent Stripes? He acts just like a dog, only much smarter, of course. Luther says that no animal will kill or eat another. This could be Heaven for the sheep, rabbits and mice but Hell for the wolf, bear and cat. Animal Karma? 🙂

  2. I think Luther is assuming the animals will be perfectly sanctified in the next life.

C.S. Lewis had another way of framing it. A hell for wicked people might be a heaven for mosquitoes. Aggressive creatures might go to a place that is heaven for them and hell for others. A whimisical speculation of course, but one that shows that some of these problems are not without possible solutions.
