Charles Taylor had disappeared before his planned extradition to stand trial for war crimes, but has now been caught (couldn’t have happened to a more deserving fellow).

Incidentally, I notice that Taylor has been demoted in several official news stories from “former president” or even “dictator” to the much scarier-sounding “warlord.” What exactly do you have to do to earn the title of warlord?

    Oddly (or maybe not) Charles Taylor and Pat Robertson are apparently personal friends. Robertson’s string of rants of a year ago on the 700 Club (or longer ago? I don’t remember) about how awful the U.S. State Dept. is, were spurred by the push to oust and try Taylor as a war criminal a while back.

    I think Pat Robertson is really some evil genius out to discredit Christianity.
