It ain’t easy being Green…

Nader
Green – You believe that small economic units
should control the goods, and that the
government should be permissive of
“victimless crimes,” respectful of
civil liberties and very strict towards big
business. You also believe in either a
socialist tax structure or more power to local
communities. You think that environmental
policies should be written into law. Your
historical role model is Ralph Nader.

But I actually voted for him. Did you?

I took the quiz and came out green, too.

    Hmm.

Well, I voted for the Green party guy (Cobb) – so surely that counts!

    See my “apology” here: http://verbumipsum.blogspot.com/2004/11/apologia-pro-vote-sua.html

In a lot of respects I’m sure my views would not mesh with the average Green voter.

These things usually give me misleading results, because the choices either aren’t mutually exclusive, or mutually exhaustive, or neither. For example, I believe a non-regulated market economy most likely WOULD BE made up primarily of worker co-ops, but the quiz seems to assume that if I’m pro-market I’m also pro-big corporation.

I also put less stock in this after I went back and changed one answer I was ambivalent about and magically became a libertarian! Change a different one and I became a socialist!
