Good question.
I’ve found it facinating that the Bushites have been able to keep up this idea that they are trying to take the country back from the liberal elites now that they control every branch of the federal government and will be running the show for a long time to come. reminds me of the sort of rhetoric used by the facists and stalinists in the 20th century to whip up support for their states and programmes.
